The THAI08 standard tour is ideal as a starting tour for any age and any level of fitness. It encompasses the best of Thailand in a short time.
Day 1 Arrive in Bangkok early morning. Transfer to guesthouse and freshen up in your room before enjoying breakfast. Pick up some essential travel items such as sunscreen, bottled water and local currency. Taxi to MBK for some serious shopping therapy and be pampered with a deluxe facial and a one hour foot and leg massage. This will soothe away all your travel aches and pains and put you in the holiday mood. Indulge in a wonderful lunch at the wonderful MBk food hall restaurants before heading back to the guesthouse later in the afternoon. Enjoy an evening walk to night market and some local Thai food for supper. Email access and spend some time around the pool and enjoy a cool drink, or two!
Day 2 Enjoy breakfast at the guesthouse before catching water taxi on the mighty Chao Phraya river to the Grand Palace, reclining Buddha and street markets. Lunch on the hop, enjoy some local cuisine while we browse local handcrafts and street vendors. Explore the city by tuk tuk. Free time available in the evening to spend however you like. Maybe a Thai massage, some street markets or Thai boxing, the choice is yours and we can provide the information. You may like to relax by the pool after a rather busy day at the Grand Palace so just kick back, read a book, watch some TV or send some emails. Evening meal at guesthouse or restaurant of your choice.
Day 3 Have breakfast at the guesthouse before catching a taxi to the famous Chatachuk market. Make sure you have your backpack empty and good walking shoes to make the most of the 8000 plus market stalls. We will lunch at one of the small restaurants or bars located at the market. Iced fruit and a cold drink will be supplied. You won't believe the range of goods on offer at this world famous market.

Day 4 Up early for breakfast before beginning our journey south to the beautiful royal seaside village of Hua Hin. Take in the changing scenery as we head down the freeway and arrive at the resort with plenty of time to check in, freshen up and head off for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon of Thai massage for 2 hours. Visit the shoemaker to place an order. Visit the dentist for an appointment if required (see our dental page for pricing) and visit the tailor and be measured up for your handmade outfits.

Day 5 Breakfast at either the resort or cafe before choosing either Monkey Mountain or Elephant Sanctuary for the morning excursion. Day trips to Pala-U Waterfall and the Kaeng Krachen National Park can be organised for you. Take a picnic lunch and don't forget your camera!

Day 6 A lovely beach walk and breakfast before spending the day shopping at the Hua Hin Village. Visit Mr Bell at Wandee Silver shop and have the chance to purchase beautiful gems set in sterling silver, rings, bracelets, necklaces, brooches. You will be spoilt for choice. Lunch on the hop as we discover other hidden parts of this great royal beachside city. Pickup any handmade goods from the tailor and shoemaker that you may have ordered. Relax with a well earned afternoon massage for a whole hour including a manicure & pedicure, before heading to the Hua Hin night market and bazaar. We can pick up some more bargains and enjoy some Thai nightlife, people, food and great fun.
Day 7 Breakfast at the resort or cafe before the return trip to Bangkok either by taxi or minibus. Lunch at Bangkok restaurant of clients choice or guesthouse restaurant. Free afternoon for massage, sightseeing and shopping. Taxi to the fantastic Lumphini night market with over 3500 stalls, open from 4pm till midnight, to pickup last minute buys and items you just cant live without! Enjoy an evening meal then back to guesthouse, You will, no doubt, be overloaded with goodies and we will pack for tomorrow's departure to airport.
Day 8 Transfer to Bangkok International airport by group transfer.
